COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Effective Date: 5 June 2026
1. PURPOSE
These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that BOOMieY remains a safe, trustworthy, and respectful platform for Customers, Creators, Sellers, and all users.
These Guidelines apply to all user-generated content and activity on the Platform, including posts, comments, messages, profiles, listings, reviews, and promotional content.
2. PROHIBITED CONDUCT AND CONTENT
Users must not engage in any of the following:
2.1 Harassment and Harmful Behavior
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, or abuse other users;
- Encourage violence or harm against individuals or groups;
- Engage in hate speech or discriminatory content.
2.2 Fraud and Misrepresentation
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content;
- Impersonate any person, business, brand, or organization;
- Misrepresent identity, affiliation, or credentials;
- Engage in scams or deceptive commercial practices.
2.3 Spam and Manipulation
- Publish spam, unsolicited promotions, or repetitive content;
- Create fake accounts or automated accounts without authorization;
- Manipulate engagement, rankings, reviews, or platform systems;
- Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior or artificial influence.
2.4 Illegal or Harmful Content
- Share or promote illegal activities or criminal conduct;
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful software;
- Promote terrorism, violent extremism, or criminal organizations;
- Facilitate or encourage unlawful transactions or behavior.
2.5 Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights;
- Upload or distribute content without proper authorization.
3. PLATFORM INTEGRITY
Users must not:
- Attempt to bypass Platform safety systems or moderation controls;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse Platform systems;
- Interfere with ranking systems, recommendation systems, or advertising systems;
- Create artificial engagement for content, listings, or advertisements.
4. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
BOOMieY reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any of the following actions where a violation is suspected or confirmed:
- Remove or restrict access to content;
- Reduce or limit content visibility or distribution;
- Demote content in recommendations or search results;
- Suspend or restrict account features;
- Temporarily suspend accounts;
- Permanently terminate accounts;
- Restrict access to monetization, Ads, or Boost features;
- Remove or disable listings, posts, or campaigns.
BOOMieY may take enforcement actions with or without prior notice, depending on severity and risk level.
5. REPEAT AND SEVERE VIOLATIONS
Repeated violations of these Guidelines may result in escalated enforcement actions, including permanent account termination.
Severe violations (including but not limited to fraud, illegal activity, abuse, or security threats) may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
6. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users may report violations through Platform reporting tools or by contacting BOOMieY support channels.
BOOMieY may review, investigate, and take appropriate action based on reported or detected violations.
7. PLATFORM DISCRETION
BOOMieY reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Guidelines in order to:
- Protect users;
- Maintain Platform integrity;
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance;
- Prevent abuse or misuse of the Platform;
- Protect the reputation and operational stability of BOOMieY.
8. RELATION TO OTHER POLICIES
These Community Guidelines operate alongside:
- Terms of Service;
- Merchant Policy;
- Creator Policy;
- Advertising and Boost Policies;
- Privacy Policy and PDPA Notice.
In case of conflict, BOOMieY policies and applicable law shall prevail.
